Reporting in today’s business world equates to one thing… Accountability.
Without it you are dead in the water. To anyone who is looking to stick their toe in the mobile space, we urge you to obtain a copy of a mobile service providers reporting before committing to conduct business. It should clearly indicate what platform the messages were sent on (SMPP or SMPT), what short code was used, the number of messages sent, number of messages successfully delivered, any cell phone numbers that could not be identified with a carrier, and the numbers that have opted out of future messages. Each one of these items listed is crucial to maximizing the clients budget.
